My name is Anna Knight and I was born and raised in LaGrange, Georgia. I attended Presbyterian College wanting to major in Art Education but half way through, changed my major to fine arts realizing that it was the closest degree offered at Presbyterian to Interior Design.

After college I moved back to my hometown, got married, and began working at Milliken & Company. In my spare time, I was asked to paint a mural in a nursery. At first I was hesitant because I had only had one painting class in college (my concentration was actually sculpture and photography). For my first job, I started experimenting with lots of color and oversized designs. Within weeks, I was booked painting murals on children’s walls around LaGrange.

Once I had my 2 children, I found it difficult to spend all day at other people’s houses and began painting canvases. I decided to create a website and launched it in December 2006. At first I only sold canvases, picture frames, placemats, and step stools. Since all of my products are made to order, I continued to get new ideas from my customers and my website has grown to have over 200 products for sale - ranging from infant and children's gifts to house warming and wedding gifts. I always find a way to personalize each piece and every item that I paint is different in it's own way. I use bright, rich colors and use the best materials with gallery wrapped canvases and top of the line paints. I also turn around the items within 2-4 weeks. In March 2009, my husband and I welcomed a new addition to our family, a little girl! Since having a girl, I have had many new ideas that I never had with little boys! After she was born, I started making some of her clothes, which I plan to add to my website soon. I have added monogramming to my business and started experiencing with combining the different fabrics and monograms together. I am in the process of adding a page on my website where you can choose the item you want (such as burp cloths, t-shirts, bloomers, bibs, etc.), and then have a huge variety of fabrics so you can design your own item. When I am not painting, I love spending time with my husband, 2 boys (ages 6 and 4)and my daughter who will be 1 in march! Over the past year I bought an old 1940's home and renovated it and also helped turn an old building in downtown LaGrange into a beautiful retail store! I wouldn't be able to do what I love without the support of my family, friends, and great customer base that think of me when needing unique gifts. I hope by expanding my products, I can continue to provide new and exciting gifts that will keep them buying more!!
